How Big Is a Share?

Our Deluxe share provides the majority of produce for 2-4 and varies from family to family - a vegetarian family may want more. The Mini is a small Deluxe and works well
for 1-3 people.
You'll receive a seasonal mix of farm-fresh produce, picked often just before you receive it. This is in contrast to commercial produce that travels 1500 miles from an industrial farm and is grown for shipping ability, shelf-life and appearance.

Along with our own produce, we collaborate with other local, organic and sustainable farms to bring you a wonderful selection of seasonal vegetables and fruits. Occasional commercial organic can be included, usually late winter/early spring. Our goal
is to provide local produce
all 12 months of the year.

A Request
If you don't choose our farm, please choose another local farm. Our food security depends upon it.

* CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a partnership between people and the farm who grows their food. People in the community buy a seasonal membership (sometimes referred to as a share and the people as shareholders) and the farm agrees to grow or raise quality fresh produce, meat, etc. for them for the season. It's kind of like having your own personal farmer. When possible the membership is paid for in advance of the season providing pre-season cashflow to help with the farm's operating expenses. You receive great food and the farm receives much needed and appreciated income - farm supported communities and community supported farms. Each week you receive a bag of seasonally harvested produce, often picked just hours before you receive it. It connects people directly to who grows their food versus conventional produce traveling 1500 miles from an unknown source, and often a week from farm to table. It's fresher, more nutritious and delicious, builds community, keeps dollars circulating in the local community, it's better for the environment and it helps to support local sustainable farms. We encourage you to get connected to your local CSA farm... the health of our community and our food security depends upon it.
Let every dollar you spend support local farms, small businesses and services and your community.
